I have to say, it’s been quite a while since I last wrote on the blog. But do I still remember how to do it? It’s been more than a year since my last post. Every now and then, I think about coming back to it, but I’ve never really found the right moment. Sometimes I miss it and tell myself I should start again, yet I get caught up in everyday life and end up being more active on Instagram instead.

So many things have happened in a year: new passions discovered, new friendships, weddings, countless K-dramas watched and plenty of new books. Who knows, perhaps I’ll write a post about my latest obsessions soon. The most important thing, without a doubt, was my trip to Japan and Korea, simply the most beautiful journey of my life. My mind goes back there every single day, and I really miss it. That’s why I’ve brought the food, the literature, the movies, and of course the products into my everyday life, to add a touch of Asia to my routine. And for that reason, I’d love to share with you my latest haul from Stylevana!

Devo dire che è davvero da un bel po' che non scrivo sul blog. Ma mi ricordo come si fa? È passato più di un anno dall'ultima volta che ho scritto. Ogni tanto ci ripenso ma non ho più avuto l'occasione di rimettermi, ogni tanto mi manca e dico potrei riprendere, poi ci si perde nella quotidianità e decido di essere un po' più attiva su Instagram.

Sono successe davvero tante cose in un anno: passioni scoperte, nuove amicizie, matrimoni, quanti k-drama visti e tanti nuovi libri, chissà magari vi farò un post con le mie ultime passioni del momento. Sicuramente la cosa più importante è stato il mio viaggio in Giappone e Corea, semplicemente il viaggio più bello della vita. La mia mente ritorna là ogni giorno e ne sento la mancanza. Per questo ho portato il cibo, la letteratura, i film, e ovviamente i prodotti con me per portarmi un tocco di asia nella mia quotidianità. Per questo voglio condividere con voi il mio ultimo haul fatto su Stylevana!

Wow! I'm finally back to blogging. It's been a long time, hasn't it? I've missed it a lot. I'm writing from the new house. It's not all settled yet but every day we take a step forward. During this time I have been incredibly busy. I have also been thinking about the blog. After so many years I have reached a point where it's really difficult for me to keep it active as I used to. I don't know if I will ever close it down for good. After all, it's my little online space and I can keep coming back to it whenever I want. But I would appreciate it if you are reading this blog post, leave me a little comment. But let's get down to business and talk about the best products I have finished in the year that has just passed!

Wow! Finalmente torno a scrivere sul blog. Quanto tempo è passato, non è vero? Mi è mancato molto. Vi scrivo dalla casa nuova. Non è ancora tutto sistemato ma ogni giorno facciamo un passo avanti. In questo periodo sono stata incredibilmente occupata. Ho anche riflettuto sul blog. Dopo tanti anni sono arrivata ad un punto in cui mi è davvero difficile tenerlo attivo come facevo un tempo. Non so se lo chiuderò mai definitivamente. In fondo è il mio piccolo spazio online e posso continuare a tornarci quando voglio. Ma mi farebbe piacere se stai leggendo questo blog post se mi lasciassi un piccolo commento.

Ma veniamo a noi e ai migliori prodotti che ho terminato in questo anno che è appena passato!

💄 Lip products

Every year I like to change. There are months when I want to wear bold colours, others I just want to be bright. This year I have really enjoyed lip glosses again. In fact, here I show you my favourite from BareMinerals in the colour Everything. Nudes - as always - have a place in my heart so I will never abandon them. My absolute favourite that I, unfortunately, ran out of is the BAREPRO lipstick in the colour Petal.

Liquid lipsticks in my opinion are the best lipsticks for durability, colour and coverage. The Sephora ones (in the photo I show you 81 - Daydreaming) are really good even if my favourites remain the TooFaced ones!

Ogni anno mi piace cambiare. Ci sono mesi in cui voglio osare con i colori, altri che voglio solo essere luminosa. Quest'anno ho riapprezzato molto i gloss. Infatti qui vi mostro il mio preferito di BareMinerals nella colorazione Everything. I nude come sempre hanno un posto nel mio cuore quindi non li abbandonerò mai. Il mio preferito in assoluto che sfortunatamente ho terminato è il rossetto BAREPRO nel colore Petal.

I rossetti liquidi secondo me sono i migliori rossetti per durata, colore e coprenza. Quelli Sephora (in foto vi mostro 81 - Daydreaming) sono davvero ottimi anche se i miei preferiti restano quelli di TooFaced!

✨ Mascara

If you have been following me on the blog for a while, you know that mascara is my absolute favourite product and I love trying new brands and versions of mascara. I don't have a favourite because there are many really good ones. TooFaced makes some really sensational mascaras. The Better Than Sex! is definitely one of the best, but I also really liked Damn Girl! which you can see in the picture in a mini size found in Sephora's advent calendar.

Se mi seguite da un po' sul blog sapete che il mascara è il mio prodotto preferito in assoluto e amo provare nuove marche e versioni di mascara. Non ne ho uno preferito perché ce ne sono molti davvero validi. TooFaced fa dei mascara davvero sensazionali. Il Better Than Sex! è sicuramente uno dei migliori, ma anche Damn Girl! che vedete in foto in una mini size trovata nel calendario dell'avvento di Sephora mi è piaciuto molto.

🤎 Brows

Eyebrow products have been the breakthrough. Ever since they came out years ago following the 'Instagram eyebrows' boom, innovative products for every effect are constantly coming out. I really loved this eyebrow gel from Essence. Cheap, lightweight, easy to use and light in colour. I'm not a big fan of pencils because they are often too dark or have too defined a stroke. The mascara keeps the eyebrows tidy while giving a touch of colour by filling in the gaps.

I prodotti per le sopracciglia sono stati la svolta. Da quando sono usciti anni fa in seguito al boom delle "sopracciglia da Instagram" escono continui prodotti innovativi per ogni effetto. Io ho amato molto questo gel per le sopracciglia di Essence. Economico, leggero, facile da usare e dal colore leggero. Non sono una grande amante delle matite perché spesso troppo scure o dal tratto troppo definito. Il mascara tiene le sopracciglia in ordine dando un tocco di colore riempiendo i buchi.

🎨 Eyeshadow palette

I love palettes. Who isn't attracted by all those beautiful colours? Unfortunately, though, I really struggle to finish a palette and that's why I don't have many but I try to have 2-3 and finish them before I buy more. This 2022 I finished my Morphe 15D palette and if you want to see what gorgeous colours it had inside, run and read the review!

Io sono una grande amante delle palette. Chi non resta ammaliato da tutti quei splendidi colori? Purtroppo però faccio davvero fatica a terminare una palette ed è per questo che non ne ho molte ma cerco di averne 2-3 e di terminarle prima di acquistarne altre. Questo 2022 ho terminato la mia Morphe 15D palette e se volete vedere quali splendidi colori aveva al suo interno correte a leggere la review!
